The fact is, our Sunday gatherings are too big to build real community... honestly, that's not even our Sunday goal. Plus, it would be wrong to want to keep the overall size of the church small for our own sake. That's like saying, "I want to be a part of something great but don't want anyone else to hear about it."

That's just selfish. So, how do we stay faithful to God's call to reach out and make room for everyone, but still be able to connect in a more relational setting for community?

GROUPS!

We've decided to model ourselves like the first century church by having a large group celebration once a week (Sunday gatherings), and then also getting together in smaller contexts during the week (Groups). Groups are a great way to meet new friends, grow in your relationship with God, have fun, and make a difference. You'll find people who are friendly but not manic, spiritual but not obnoxious, people who don't take themselves too seriously, but want to make the most out of life.

The best way to get connected with other Citipointers than to dig in and get involved.

Get involved and come be a part of what God is doing in the Skagit Valley!
