computer operator (monthly, sunday)We want everyone to get the most out of musical worship and the sermon, and our computer operator works behind the scenes to make that happen. They run our live presentation by changing slides for the various elements of our gathering. If you’re decently tech-savvy and enjoying working with software, this role is perfect for you!
sound technician (monthly, sunday)Our sound technicians allow the congregation to fully engage with the gathering by making things sound as good as possible! They use their musical ear and attention to detail to mix sound for musical worship, mute and unmute mics, and eliminate auditory distractions.
photography (monthly, days vary)A Photography Team Member is one who volunteers their skills from time to time to help collect photos that simply show the life of Citipoint Church and captures photos of events.

livestream host (monthly, sunday)
Our livestream often sets the first impression of our church for potential guests, and our livestream host is there to help make it a good one! Their role is to make our online gathering look and sound great by changing camera angles and mixing online sound. They also interact with online participants in the live chat, making sure everyone feels welcome.
videographer (monthly, days vary)
A videography team member is one who is in the know of the video world and sees the value that it can bring to a business, non-profit, etc. Being on this team you would collect VERTICAL & HORIZONTAL video footage that simply shows the life of Citipoint Church as well as capturing the action of events.
music team

drummer/percussionist (1-2x a month, sunday)
The drummers are skilled individuals who help hold the team together. They are responsible for providing rhythm, tempo, and timing to the music, ensuring that the entire team plays in sync and on a beat. They add depth and complexity to the music. They are able to play different styles and understand the dynamics of a song.
electric guitarist (1-2x a month, sunday)
The electric guitarists are dedicated to their craft and are willing to put in the time and effort necessary to achieve the desired sound. They provide a vital element of sound and style to the songs. They are typically responsible for creating the melody or the rhythm section, which lays the foundation for the rest of the band to build upon.
acoustic guitarist (1-2x a month, sunday)The acoustic guitarists must know their instrument and have a good sense of timing and rhythm. They are responsible for adding a rich texture to the songs. They are skilled and creative, able to use their instrument to enhance the music through strum patterns and picking. They provide support for the vocalists.
bass guitarist (1-2x a month, sunday)The bass guitarists have great technical skills. They are responsible for providing the foundation and groove to the music. They often work closely with the drummer to establish the beat and maintain the tempo. They have a good ear for tone and are able to create powerful and unique sounds that complement the other instruments.

keyboardist (1-2x a month, sunday)
The keyboard player is a creative musician with technical skills, a good ear for tone, and rhythm. They help provide the harmonic and rhythmic structure. They're also capable of providing a wide range of sounds and effects, supporting the vocalists, and dynamic of each song.
vocalist (1-2x a month, sunday)
A vocalist is teachable and flexible. They use their voice with a good balance between volume and intensity. They must have a good ear for tone and pitch. They’re responsible for engagement with the congregation, delivering the lyrics and melody of the songs. They support lead vocals with harmonies. They convey emotion and expression through their “instrument”.
band leader (1-2x a month, sunday)
Typically, they’re skilled musicians who often have a good understanding of music. They’re the driving force behind the group, providing direction and guidance to the musicians under their supervision. They also possess strong leadership qualities, including the ability to communicate effectively, give encouragement, correction, and inspire their team to give their best. They take charge of rehearsals, collaborating with the Music Team Lead on music selection, and ensuring that all members of the team are on the same page.
csm music team lead (1-4x a month, wednesday)
They are a faithful follower of Jesus. Citipoint Church is their home and they have proven their commitment to it. They must be a skilled musician, an average/above average vocalist, who has a good understanding of music. This person has confident and humble leadership qualities. They are a team player and work well with others. This person works closely with the Citipoint Student Pastor, submitting to his vision and direction. Leading music on Wednesday night will be the main responsibility along with recruiting and assembling a student music team. They would be serving either every Wednesday, twice, or once a month depending on availability. They are expected to choose songs within our doxology. The lead will conduct the CSM band during the Wednesday rehearsal.
